Admission

The CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant ) Course is a 4 -week course (120 hours) Class Time : Monday thru Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Evening Classes ; 5 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Weekend classes available upon request). NAMA students will receive 80 hours of classroom/lab instruction. The remaining 40 hours will be spent out of class working in a local nursing home under the supervision of the teaching coordinator.

Students are required to attend school every day, including the last week of clinical.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Have basic reading skills (English)
  • Must agree to a complete background
    check
  • A negative Mantoux test or check x-ray is required in order to attend clinical’s
  • Following the completion of the 120 hours of instruction and clinical, all students who wish to become certified nursing assistants must complete the state Competence test.

Refund Policy

Request for refunds must be made within 48 hours prior to the course start date. A non-refundable fee of $25 will be applied.
