Director’s Message

North American Medical Academy (NAMA), 5201 Bryant Avenue North, suite 108, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55430, is a licensed provisional private school. Our goal is to help our students develop requisite skills needed to not only pass the Competency Evaluation Test but to be able to work effectively in providing direct patient care, while been employed in a nursing home, group home, hospital, assisted-living, clinic or any other health-care facility.

NAMA has a strong history of making sure its students succeed with their plans and achieve their desired goals. This is achieved by collaborating with other institutions (Minnesota African Women Association, Emerge Community, Minnesota Workforce Center, etc) successfully for 7 years. NAMA maintains a professional staff of RNs. Each RN possesses a trainer certificate and has had at least five years of experience in the health-care industry.  We guarantee one-on-one attention in our approach to providing our students with a fine education. This is reflected in the exceptionally high number of our students who pass the Competency Evaluation Test, after completion of our four-week course.
